Hear What Others Say About Us

“As someone with a hectic schedule, this online platform fits seamlessly into my routine. What I enjoy most are the spiritual insights given in the classes and their emphasis on listening to my body over achieving perfect poses. It's a mindful approach that truly resonates with me. If you're considering it, I highly recommend giving it a try. ”

Katrina

“I started practicing with ilā impact during my travels, because I needed short & effective yoga sessions. I love the thought of doing something good for the environment and myself at the same time. I also appreciate how Jana & Julia focus on how to move rather on how to look on the outside, so I am learning a lot about my postures and body during these classes.”

Malena

“I really enjoyed the yoga workshop with Jana and Julia! From the moment I walked in, their warm and welcoming energy made me feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere, with hot drinks, incense, and soothing music, added to the experience. We got to learn how to personalize our yoga practice and make the most of different props. I’m grateful to them for such a wonderful morning!”

FAQ

  • Can I participate if I've never done yoga before?

Of course! Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of their yoga experience. We, Julia and Jana, appreciate and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. We understand that everyone is different, so we offer different levels of yoga postures (asanas) to make sure you feel comfortable. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, we're excited to support you on your yoga journey!

  • What NGO does my donation go to?

our participation in our modules isn't just about personal self-care — it's about contributing to a larger purpose, as we're committed to donating 33% of our proceeds to chosen NGOs. When you invest in yourself by joining our gratitude module, you're also supporting our partner organization, the Earthchild Project. Just R250 (20 Dollars) can provide one child with weekly yoga sessions for an entire year, enabling them to experience the countless benefits of mindfulness and physical wellness.

  • What yoga props do I need?

You won't need many yoga props for our classes. While a yoga mat would be beneficial, our classes are designed to be accessible without props. However, having a pillow or blanket nearby can be helpful for certain postures, such as providing extra cushioning for your knees or elevating your seat for better spinal alignment. Props are there to support and adjust the posture to your individual needs, so it's entirely up to you whether you use them or not, depending on what feels best for your body.
